Collaboration

Empathy and collaboration guide how I work. I take the time to understand users’ needs and colleagues’ perspectives, listen carefully, and question assumptions.

By creating space for open dialogue and building trust, I help teams navigate complexity, make thoughtful decisions, and deliver impactful, user-centered solutions together.

Rapid iteration

I value rapid iteration to learn faster and reduce risk. I get ideas into tangible form early (sketches, wireframes, or prototypes) so they can be tested, discussed, and improved quickly.

Iterating this way keeps the focus on progress over perfection, stays flexible to new insights, and ensures decisions are guided by real feedback, not assumptions.

Ownership

I take ownership from problem to delivery, collaborating closely with stakeholders.

I ensure solutions are implemented correctly and meet user needs and business goals, measuring success by the impact of what we create, not just the outputs.

Data informed decisions

I use data to guide and validate design decisions. Combining user research, usability findings, metrics, and feedback helps me prioritise, evaluate trade-offs, and know if a solution is truly working.

I see data as a tool for clarity, strengthening judgment and supporting confident, evidence-based decisions.

About me

I started my career as a bookseller, a role I held for eight years before returning to study front-end development with a strong UX focus. The first year focused on visual tools like the Adobe Suite, and the second year dove into UX processes, where I discovered my passion for the psychology behind design and improving people’s experiences.

After graduating, I joined the French startup Placemeet as the sole designer on a team of five, a fast-paced, hands-on experience that shaped how I work today. I then designed at the Irish Times and Travelport, a global travel commerce platform, continuing to grow on complex, large-scale products.

Education

I studied UX design and front-end development at the Dublin Institute of Design, graduating in 2019 with Distinction. The programme covered HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, alongside UX processes and hands-on work with the Adobe Suite.

I also regularly complete courses through Uxcel, as I’m always looking to sharpen my skills, stay current, and continue learning.

Hobbies

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me with my nose in a book, experimenting in the kitchen, binge-watching series, travelling, or bending into a yoga pose that may or may not look like the intended one.

I love learning languages: I’m fluent in French and English, speak conversational Brazilian Portuguese, and am always curious to pick up more. After 15 years in Ireland, I’m excited to be moving back to France.
